The Smart Real Estate Development Forum was held in Qassim from June 16 to 18, 2025, bringing together property developers, technology companies, and engineering consultants to explore the future of smart residential communities in Saudi Arabia.

The forum highlighted IoT applications, smart meters, environmental monitoring systems, and digital facility-management solutions designed to enhance quality of life and reduce operational costs. Advanced systems offering real-time monitoring of lighting, security, water, and waste services were demonstrated.

A delegation from Nawaat Al Arabia attended the sessions, noting that the rise of smart communities will significantly influence the events industry—particularly through digital access control, smart visitor flow, and screen-based navigation systems within event venues.

The team toured the accompanying exhibition to explore the latest technologies being implemented in next-generation smart-housing projects.
